Marcus Ellis is a British badminton player.[1] He was the Men's Doubles champion in the 2016 English National Badminton Championships.[2] Ellis and Chris Langridge won the Bronze Medal in the Men's Doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Education
Ellis was educated at Colne Valley High School, a state comprehensive school in the village of Linthwaite near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, in northern England, which he attended with Alex Smithies, now the goalkeeper for Huddersfield Town Football Club.[3]
