Living former Senators
As of October 2016[update], there are four former Senators who are living, two from Class 2 and two from Class 3. The most recent senator to die was Henry Bellmon of Class 3 (1969-1981) on September 29, 2009. The most recent Class 2 senator to die was Dewey F. Bartlett (1973-1979) on March 1, 1979.
