Hardy Häman Aktell (born July 4, 1998) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player for the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). Häman Aktell was drafted 108th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators.
Playing career
[edit]Following the 2022–23 season, helping Växjö Lakers to claim their second Le Mat Trophy in three years,[1] Häman Aktell as an unsigned free agent from the Nashville Predators was signed to a one-year, entry-level contract with the Washington Capitals on April 27, 2023.[2] He made his NHL debut on October 21, 2023. On June 24, 2024, he won the Calder Cup with Washington’s farm team, the Hershey Bears.[3]
