HQ-7

HQ-7 is a Chinese Surface to Air Missile modeled on the Thompson CSF Crotale. The Chinese received both the SeaCrotale and the land based version during the warming of Sino-Western relationships in the 80s.

The manufacture name of the missile is FM-80. FM-90 an improved version benefitting from the growth of Chinese electronics industry, provides greater range and ECCM abilities.
