Wow, you can actually see the face of the vole's severed head staring at you in the hawk's mouth. Now this is featured picture work...--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 20:18, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That mouse head looks very much like it was photoshopped in. --Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 15:53, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't Photoshopped. - Ageekgal (talk) 13:10, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'll take your word for it, I don't know anything about photo editing. Nevertheless, all these years later something about the mouse head looks very odd to me (and not just for reasons of morbidness). Maybe it's the fact that it's facing right at the camera, or maybe the colours make me think that the mouse is lit differently, or maybe it's the way the top of the beak clamps over the eye to make the head look erased rather than covered. —Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 01:26, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This picture is hilarious.

Death and humor are closely related. Laughter and fear are caused by the same parts of your brain. Finding the occasional bit of death funny is not a sign of sociopathy. 174.116.54.187 (talk) 00:52, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just popped in to say this has got to be one of my most favourite pictures on Wikipedia. Excellent quality! 76.222.240.87 (talk) 05:31, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
