Summary

Description
English: The Tungbao village (屯堡) in Guizhou (贵州) is host to this traditional mask dance. The people in the village are Han Chinese, unusual for Guizhou, who still dressed in Ming clothes (unusual for anywhere). They descend of soldiers in an army sent to put down unrest in Guizhou during the Hongwu emperors time, in early Ming.
