Cyprien Tokoudagba, Voodoo Pantheon. The sculpture group shows the Voodoo gods Zangbeto (with Horns, in the background), and Legba, sitting naked, judging a sinner. The group was originally crafted for the exhibition Magiciens de la terre in 1989 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France. After the exhibition, it was given as present by the artist to Arthur Benseler, the owner of the Africa house in Freiberg am Neckar.
The group can be seen from public ground. The german right of Freedom of Panorama allows to publish photos of artwork which is permanently installed in a place where it is in public view.
