English: The two pages from the GARF document are from the Volga German ASSR (Republic) deportation order dated Aug. 26, 1941. Article 11 lists Germans (Volga and Baltic) in the NKVD who will be judged (supposedly) on an individual basis for whether they can continue serving in the NKVD. Note the copyright for the two GARF pages dated Aug. 1941 has passed (no longer extant), per Russia's 1993 Copyright Law extending copyright whether Russian or Soviet for 50 years. |
