Summary

Description
English: Canis lupus. Each skull was photographed from the same focal distance with a fixed zoom; the images were then combined while preserving scale. The larger skull is from a wild grey wolf. The smaller is from a chihuahua. They are in fact considered the same species. The domestic dog is the product of artificial selection over many generations. Suitable example for evolution or general biology.
