Description

Tovil is 1km south west or upstream of the Archbishops palace, Maidstone in Kent. The Loose Stream flows through the village before it is culverted and joins the River Medway. There are many springs in the area. . Lower Chrisbook Mill had an overshot wheel. Water falling into the wheelpit
