DescriptionThe bridge over Hedon Haven on the road from Hull to Paull - geograph.org.uk - 12424.jpg
English: The bridge over Hedon Haven on the road from Hull to Paull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This bland, concrete bridge is situated at MR: TA171279 and the photograph is taken in a north easterly direction. It was built 15-20 years ago and replaced a lovely old lifting bridge structure. The bridge needed to be able to lift to allow small ships up the once navigable Hedon Haven. There are very ambitious and expensive plans (£17m+) to re-instate this as a navigable water up to Hedon. One day, perhaps, one day!
