Description
English: This is a poster design created by Bill Wrigley that was presented at the 2nd Annual Vintage Derby Car Show in Akron, OH in July, 2023. The image comprises 72 Soap Box Derby race cars in chronological order (upper left to lower right) from 1933 to 1994. Profiles of each car are stills taken from digital 3D models created by the author and found online at Classic Soap Box Derby Racers (1933-1999).
Sixty-five cars raced in the United States, two in Germany and five in Canada, including two at the Kinsmen Coaster Classic race in Montreal.
