Deutsch: Die röm.-kath. Kapelle hl. Laurentius in Sautern, ein Ortsteil der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Pitten.
Ein mittelalterlicher Saalbau, die ursprünglich von einem Friedhof umgeben war. Zur Barockzeit umgebaut, unter Kaiser Josef II. um 1780 aufgehoben und anlässlich einer Verschonung von Cholera (1831) erfolgte 1838 eine Wiederinstandsetzung. 1972 wurde über der Eingangstür eine Wandmalerei (um 1400) freigelegt. English: Chapel in Sautern, Lower Austria. |
