Description
English: The statue of the Assumption venerated at the Saint Mary's Catholic Parish Church in Għaxaq, Malta. during the feast in her honour from the 9th to the 15th of August. It is carved in wood and is considered as masterpiece of the late Maltese artist Mariano Gerada in the year 1808
Malti: L-istatwa tal-Assunta meqjuma fil-knisja ta' ħal Għaxaq, Malta. armata b'tant ghozza fil-granet tal-festa bejn id-9 u l-15 t'Awwissu.Mahdumha fl-injam fl-1808 minn Marjanu Gerada.
