Description
English: 16,990 GRT ocean liner Georges Philippar, built in 1930 by Ateliers et Chantiers de la Loire in St Nazaire for Messageries Maritimes. In May 1932 she caught fire and sank in the Indian Ocean off Yemen with the loss of 54 lives.
