Afrikaans: Die Outeniekwaberge vorm 'n versperring noordwaarts van die Tuinroete van Suid-Afrika. Die bergreeks loop ewewydig aan die suidkus en is in die weste aaneenlopend met die Langeberge, en in die ooste aaneenlopend met die Tsitsikammaberge. Die reeks is op ou Portugese kaarte as "Serra da Estrela" ('Berg van die Ster') genoem. Die internasionaal bekroonde Kingswood-gholflandgoed is 'n voorstedelike leefstyl-gholflandgoed met 'n kampioenskapgholfbaan in George, die middelpunt van die Tuinroete se gholfmekka.
