Summary

Description
English: The Baltalı Kapı or Gate with Axe. It is named after the double bladed axe that is seen a lot in this area, most prominently figuring in Labranda with its Zeus Labryandus (with axe, again). The one on this gate is almost in the top of the arch, on the west side.
