ქართული: მადათაფა — ტბა ჯავახეთის ვულკანური მთიანეთის სამხრეთ-აღმოსავლეთ ნაწილში, ნინოწმინდის მუნიციპალიტეტში, ზღვის დონიდან 2108 მ. სარკის ფართობი 8,78 კმ², აუზის ფართობი 136 კმ², უდიდესი სიღრმე 1,7 მ, წყლის მოცულობა 9,7 მლნ მ³. ქვაბული წარმოქმნილია ლავის ნაკადით ხეობის გადაკეტვის შედეგად. საზრდოობს თოვლის, წვიმისა და მიწისქვეშა წყლით. დონე მაღალია გაზაფხულზე, დაბალია ზამთარში. ტბიდან გაედინება მდინარე მადათაფა. აქვს მიწისქვეშა განადენიც, რის გამოც დონე მკვეთრად ირყევა. წყლის ტემპერატურა ზაფხულში 17-18°C, ზამთრობით თითქმის ფსკერამდე იყინება. წყალი სუსტად მინერალიზებულია. ტბას მცირე სამეურნეო მნიშვნელობა აქვს. ტბაში თევზი არ არის. ზაფხულობით მრავლადაა წყლის ფრინველი. ტბიდან სათავეს იღებს მდინარე ბუღდაშენი, რომელიც ქ. ნინოწმინდის შესასვლელთან მდინარე ფარავანს უერთდება. ტბის ირგვლივ გაშენებულია სოფლები: ეფრემოვკა, ჟდანოვაკანი და სამება |
