DescriptionLooking across the Cherwell at Parsons Pleasure (geograph 5379091).jpg
English: Looking across the Cherwell at Parson's Pleasure. The Cherwell here flows left to right, executing a sharp bend towards the photographer just off the right of the picture, passing over a weir as it does so. This image is the view straight ahead from the top of the rollers that enable punts to be pulled past the weir: a punt launched off the rollers then has to be turned hard left to continue up the river. Although spacious, the pool here can become crowded as punts await their turn down the rollers, and is also deep, making it hard to reach the bottom.
