Description

English: The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image of Moderate Tropical Storm Kuena, at peak intensity, with an ragged, triangular eye-like feature on June 6, 2012. Kuena, was on of the most off-season storms ever recorded, forming approximately 2 months after the official end of the season.
