English: Karađorđev dud (Karađorđe's mulberry) is important place in the history of Smederevo. On November 8th 1805, under this three the keys of Smederevo Fortress were given to Karađorđe, the leader of First Serbian Uprising by turkish Dizdar Muharem Guša (serbian pronunciation). This place is called Trg Karađorđev dud (trg means square in Serbian).
Српски / srpski: Karađorđev dud je spomenik prirode - botaničkog karaktera ali i znamenito mesto iz istorije Smedereva. Pod ovim stablom je 8. novembra 1805. godine vožd Karađorđe, vođa Prvog srpskog ustanka, u prisustvu srpskih starešina i ustanika primio ključeve Smederevske tvrđave od turskog zapovednika grada, dizdara Muharema Guše. Mesto na kome se nalazi zove se Trg Karađorđev dud.
