Summary

Description

This is a grouping of several pictures, illustrating the different motions done in order to create a new stitch when purling. The pictures were taken August 8th, 2005. They were put together on October 4th using Adobe Photoshop. The pictures were taken by me, using a Fujifilm FinePix A205 Digital Camera. Please note that the instructions carry a serious error: For a Purl stitch, the right hand needle should be inserted into the stitch from RIGHT to LEFT, not left to right, as the caption states.

Also the yarn is wrapped COUNTER clockwise to make the new stitch.
