Summary

Description
English: Green Street Green Bus Garage Built on the site of Oak Farm, owned by the local brewery proprietors, the Fox family, from 1935 to the 1960s the land was owned by a fairground family, the Bottons, who based their various rides and stalls here when not in use.

It later became the operating site for the Orpington and District bus company, before being taken over by Tillingbourne (Metropolitan) in 1982, following the collapse of the former company. A management buyout the following year led to the formation of Metrobus, which in turn became part of the Go-Ahead group in 1999. Its operations cover a large area of southeast London, Surrey and Sussex.

Its site here has been extended over the years, with additions to the original site in 1985 and 1997. The buildings date from 1985.
