Note: The coastline has changed considerably during the last millennium, there were for example a sea bay reaching in from the north into Uppsala. Also the Långhundra route (Swedish: Långhundraleden) was open water.

This map has been made by using the hundred borders (Swedish: häradsgränser) from the 1900-century.
