English: Etherdwick Grange, Etherdwick in Holderness, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The name Etherdwick is thought to be an Anglo-Scandinavian hybrid meaning 'Ethelred's dairy farm'. The Etherdwick estate was once owned by the abolitionist William Wilberforce who died in 1833. His son (also called William) sold the 165 acre estate to Robert Raikes in 1836, three years after his father's death.
