Deutsch: Der Rehbock symbolisiert die Ortsnamen. Die Brücke ist die über den Fluss Glan und die Verbindung zwischen den beiden zuvor getrennten Orten Reichartsweiler und Rehweiler. Darauf nimmt auch der Wechsel der Farben Bezug. Schwarz und Gold sind die Hause Wittelsbach, die sowohl in der Kurpfalz als auch in Pfalz-Zweibrücken regierten.
