Deutsch: Der Wellenschildfuß, ein heraldisches Gewässersymbol, spielt auf die Lage am Starnberger See an. Pöcking gehörte über Jahrhunderte zur Hofmark Possenhofen. Die Eule war das Wappentier der Hörwarth (Herwarth) von Hohenburg, die von 1595 bis 1668 die Hofmarksherrschaft innehatten. Die Farbgebung in Rot und Silber geht zurück auf die Wappenfarben der Rosenbusch und der Grafen von La Rosée. Jakob Rosenbusch, Kanzler des bayerischen Herzogs, erhielt für den Edelsitz Possenhofen 1537 die Hofmarksfreiheit. Die Grafen von La Rosée waren von 1779 bis 1834 Besitzer der Hofmark. |
