Object history
Deutsch: Dexheim erstmals 774 urkundlich erwähnt, zählte schon im frühen Mittelalter zu den sogenannten Reichsdörfern. Das Wappen ist abgeleitet von dem ältesten Siegel, welches aber keinen Reichsapfel zeigte. Erst seit Mitte des 20. Jahrhundert führt die gemeinde dieses Wappen. Warum nun mit Reichsapfel ist nicht geklärt.
