Description
English: Official portrait of César Eusebio Iturre (1938 - 1997) as governor of the province of Santiago del Estero, Argentina, from 1987 to 1991. This photo was published by the newspaper El Liberal on the day of his inauguration as governor on 10 December 1987. Mr Iturre completed his term in office in December 10 1991. In the photo you can see that Mr Iturre uses his band of governor. This portrait also is exhibited to the public since 1987, in the Museo Histórico Provincial "Orestes Di Lullo"(Provincial Historical Museum "Orestes Di Lullo") in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. In this museum, there is a gallery called "Galería de los Gobernadores" (Governors's Gallery), where the portraits of the governors of the province of Santiago del Estero are exhibited, including César Iturre's portrait.
