For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Schwarzer Tag für Sektorenschieber Am 3.5.1949 wurden an der Sektorengrenze in der Leipziger Strasse und Unter den Linden von der Volkspolizei drei Lastkraftwagen mit doppelten Böden bzw. doppelter Wand, die insgesamt 2500 Tafeln Schokolade, 60000 amerikanische Zigaretten und 25 Ztr Zement geldaden hatten, sichergestellt. Die Ware sollte in die Westsektoren verschoben werden. |
