English: Bal Gopaleshwar Temple in the middle of Rani Pokhari, the main site of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. This temple is open once a year only on the day of Bhai Tika, the great festival of Nepalis, i.e. today, November 6. Those who do not have sisters go to this temple and stay there. There are idols of various deities in this temple premises. As it is open only once a year, the temple complex was very crowded today. This temple was destroyed by the earthquake of 2072 BS and has been rebuilt. This temple is located in the middle of the pond, so it looks very attractive.
