English: Part of the Aegina treasure. This golden ornament consists of an elongated curved plate with human heads at both ends. Eyes and eyebrows of the heads had originally been inlaid, probably with lapis lazuli. Ten disks are hanging from it on short chains. Two small rings on top of the heads mean that it was worn on a string around the neck of the wearer. British Museum Catalogue Jewellery #761. Description after Higgins: The Aegina Treasure, 1979
