English: A monthly periodical that is an early example of a Welsh language children's periodical. Aimed at the children and young people of the Sunday school, the magazine was edited by the minister and hymn writer David Charles (1803-1880), and contains a number of his hymns, with its subject matter largely concerned with religious education. Cymraeg: Cylchgrawn misol sy'n esiampl gynnar o gylchgrawn i blant yn yr iaith Gymraeg. Golygwyd gan y gweinidog ac emynydd David Charles (1803-1880) ac mae'r cylchgrawn yn cynnwys nifer o'i emynau. Anelwyd y cylchgrawn yn benodol at blant a phobl ifanc yr ysgol Sul ac 'roedd ei gynnwys yn canolbwyntio ar addysg grefyddol. |
