| Description |
The XF Falcon was built from Oct 1984-Feb 1988. The XF was the 2nd facelift on the European looking XD. The XF got a new front and rear giving the car a more rounded look, the interior completely redesigned too. Sedans were available in GL, Fairmont and Fairmont Ghia. Wagons in GL or Fairmont, Utes and Vans in Standard or GL The GL came with 3.3 6 cyl, manual, cloth trim, steel wheels The Fairmont with 4.1 6 cyl, auto, cord trim, steel wheels Fairmont Ghia; trip computer, climate and cruise control and electronic dash S pack: option on the GL, body stripe, fog lamps, alloys, sports suspension, interior and instrument cluster. There was only 2000 of these Limited Edition 25th anniversary models made, featuring two tone paint, the main colour in white, silver or red. In Jan 86 engines were revised to run unleaded, identified by small indicator on side of bumper. Engines; 89kw 3.3 6 cyl and 98kw 4.1 6 cyl (121kw EFI) Photographed at Blue Sunday, the last week of the Australian Falcon production. |
