English: 1982, Gulf-spec Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 in Freeborn Red with a Cygnus White roof. Model code FJ40LV-KC, sold new in Saudi Arabia and arrived to the US from the UAE in 2012. 4.2-litre 2F inline-six. Sold on BaT for $58K three days before I took this pic; I guess it was awaiting transport to its new owner. Perfect restoration in my eyes - all original look (aside from slightly larger tires and smoother bumpers), but under the skin it has received some minor but meaningful upgrades like front disc brakes, power steering, and a Vintage Air air conditioner along with an insulated floor. |
