English: RAMADI, Iraq (Feb. 18, 2005) – A U.S. Marines rewards his explosive sniffing dog assigned to 1st Marine Division, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, for a good job searching random vehicles and their occupants at a checkpoint in Ramadi, Iraq, Feb. 20, 2005. Marines and Sailors are currently conducting Operation River Blitz to limit the movement of insurgents by use of checkpoints in vital entry points to the city.
