The Ukrainians of bucovina created a millatary to support the ukranians Polish–Ukrainian war this millatary took control of the north region of bucovina and declared the union wiht west Ukraine. This ended quickly because the ukrainians lost the Polish-Ukrainian war and the millitary was destroyed. Shortly after that the Treaty of Saint-Germain led to the Kingdom of Romania anexing the territory.
