Selangor Rail Line (also known as Kita Selangor Rail Line) is a new passenger and cargo railway network in Selangor, Malaysia proposed by the State Government of Selangor. The line will run along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, connecting the north and south of Selangor. The proposed alignment will pass through Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor, Klang, Sepang and crossing state line into Labu, Negeri Sembilan.[1] Along the Selangor alignment, there will be 4 spurlines serving Westport, Klang, Putra Heights, and University of Selangor (Unisel) Bestari Jaya.[2] The total length of the proposed alignment is 210km[3] and will integrate with the existing rail network operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) and the under-construction East Coast Rail Link (ECRL).[4]
As of February 2025, the line is said to be in its final phase of feasibility study, before being submitted to the Ministry of Transport for approval.[5] Once approved by the federal governement, the construction is expected to take 10 years to complete.[6]
