Father Azam Vianney Mansha, CJM (born 16 August, 1985) is a catholic priest, author and biblical theologian. He was ordained on February 8, 2021, as a member of the Eudists-Congregation of Jesus and Mary.[1]

Early life and education

He was born in Karachi, Pakistan in August 16, 1985. He received his initial education in Parochial schools of his native parish-St. Anthony of Padua. In 2005 he graduated with Baccalaureate of Philosophy from St. Francis Xavier Philosophical Seminary in Lahore. In 2009, Mansha joined Karachi's National Catholic Institute of Theology earning a diploma in theological studies and a Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology. Mansha began discerning with the Congregation of Jesus and Mary while attending the Loyola School of Theology.[2]

In 2018, he earned a Licentiate of Sacred Theology specializing in Biblical Theology from Loyola School of Theology.[1] His thesis is titled "Mother of Jesus, His Mother and the Woman: An Attempt to Understand Johannine Mariology." [3]

Career

He served as a formator, researcher, catechist and a lecturer in theological schools.[4]

He served as a theological faculty of Institute of Formation and Religious Studies (IFRS) and CICM at Maryhill School of Theology (MST).

In 2021, he was ordained as a priest with the Congregation of Jesus and Mary and in 2022 he was transferred to the Eudist community in Sandiego.[1]

Today (2025) Mansha, is an Associate Pastor of St. Patrick Catholic Parish in Carlsbad and lectures for the Diocesan Institute of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego[5] and offers bible studies at parishes around the Diocese.[6][7]
