Bertha Valerius

Aurora Valeria Albertina Bertha Valerius (21 January 1824, Stockholm - 24 March 1895, Stockholm), was a Swedish photographer.

Valerius performed portraits by both photography and painting. In 1864 she was appointed official portrait artist of the royal court. She was awarded at the exhibition in Kungsträdgården in 1866. Bertha Valerius is represented at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts, Uppsala Universitetsbibliotek, Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Linköpings museum.
