The 2024 Lanka T10 is the inaugural season of the Lanka T10. The matches are played 10-over-a-side format with a time duration of 90 minutes. The tournament is played in a round robin format. The tournament began on the 11 December and the final is scheduled to be played on the 19 December 2024 in Sri Lanka at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.[1][2][3][4][5]
Background
[edit]The league was founded by Shaji Ul Mulk, the chairman of the Abu Dhabi T10 league. The Sri Lanka edition was announced in February 2024, in which the inaugural edition will be held in December 2024.[6]
Draft
[edit]On 10 November 2024, the players draft was held to determine the lineups of the six teams.[7][8]
