RE: Szayel Aporro Grantz

[edit]

When the part regarding Szayel's hollow form was written, the RAW format of chapter 288 had been released, thus the information is true, (To the point of translation anyway.)(WikifingHelper 21:05, 24 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Fallen Angel

[edit]

I'm talking to him in his talk page. You should join. ^^ Ryu-chan 19:29, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And we're nearly there. I've done a little copy-editing, and the only remaining thing is to add sources to the statements under Bleach: Blade Battlers and Bleach: The Blade of Fate. After that, I'll submit it to peer review, and we'll see where we stand before submitting it to WP:FLC. Thanks. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 04:45, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously? Wow, that was kind of fast. I'll see what I can do about those refs right away. // DecaimientoPoético 14:04, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the peer review is really just a reality check more or less. However, they'll likely point us in the right direction, and we'll (hopefully) end up at WP:FLC. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 17:11, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vegeta article plot summary

[edit]

Hey Poetic Decay, I was wondering if you could help me with the extremely long Vegeta article plot summary. I really don't have the stamina for such a trim and was wondering if you could help me cut it down. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 23:44, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gladly. I'll see what I can do. // DecaimientoPoético 01:01, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I would really apreciate it. You think we could get some kind of Consensus of what kind of things should be in the video game section? I was thinking of a Category of Games Vegeta has appeared in to fix the problem of the list but that would be convoluted. What do you think. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 01:04, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also I've slowly started to cut the Piccolo article to no effect. The plot summary is the problem and so are the special moves. Could you help me with a cut? DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 12:10, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Woah!

I log in and check my messages, and imagine my surprise to see a barnstar from you! Thanks so much. ANd I've sent you an email. The Hippietalk 20:04, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

[edit]

Hey Poetic Decay, I was just wondering if you could check out my proposed change for the Saga pages at the talk page for the WP:DBZ. Also I was wondering if you could help me make a suitable plot summary for the Vegeta article. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 22:35, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Characters do count

[edit]

Okay dude, they do count because in BT1, the base characters and the transformations were different characters. In BT2, they still did count, just go the game's fucking Wikipedia article okay. it will specifically tell you that all the 134 characters (including transformations do count). So of course there are more characters and of course the transformations do count. Johnny542 22:53, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

why Merge?

[edit]

I got a problem with you. What is going on with all this unintelligent merging? Its pointless and terrible.I will oppose it with the entire fiber of my being.

Italic text Hey poetic decay, I was planing on merging Dragon Ball Z Budokai, Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2, Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai and Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai - Another Road together. You think you could help me with it? DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 19:24, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gladly. ^^ In fact, I've started merging these articles a while ago in my sandbox (I sadly didn't get much done, nor did I do as well a job so far as I had hoped); if you'd like, you can copy and past the text onto your own sandbox or whatever is convenient for you and we could continue there. I won't be able to edit often, due to trying to focus on both Dragon Ball and Bleach games at the same time, but I'll do what I can. // DecaimientoPoético 21:27, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well seeing as It would be confusing for both you and me to edit two versions of the Same format would I be ok if I just edited your Sandbox? I mean if I edited my own version and You edited your own version, we would have two very differn't articles. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 23:32, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was really planning on deleting the text in my sandbox after you pasted it to your's, but my bad for not being clear. Anyway, go right ahead and us mine. Just remember not to use images until it's off the sandbox (if you wish to view an image by using preview and changing it to [[:Image:...]] afterwards, that's okay). Other than that, do what you wish. // DecaimientoPoético 23:43, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I started a redone Plot summary for the new saga articles at my sandbox, but I really don't have the energy right now to type up 7 plot summaries. Could you help me get it started? No references or anything like that, I can handle that, just a starter for a few of them. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 21:42, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And we're close. The concerns of the reviewer are here. Basically, it boils down to adding sources. Citing the guidebook, instruction manual, or a website would be perfectly fine. Let's get to it! Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 23:36, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Piccolo Mid

[edit]

There is a Piccolo Mid. If there isn't, why would they skip Piccolo Mid and go on to both Early and End? There is, it just needs to be confirmed and did you even check the video I was talking about on youtube and on the talkpage? Piccolo was fighting Frieza and had a different set of moves from his Early and End forms. Johnny542 19:27, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I assume you were refering to this? At this point, it's merely speculation to say Mid Piccolo is a playable character since no official source has revealed such a character yet. Also, since no specific names were mentioned in the video (simply "Goku" rather than saying "Goku (Early)", etc), we can't go on assumptions. It would probably be best to continue this on the game's talk page. // DecaimientoPoético 19:30, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh okay, I guess I overreacted, Sorry about that, its just since with Piccolo fighting Freiza, I just thought that it was Mid. Anyway if there is a Piccolo with a much different attack from Piccolo Early and Piccolo End, that has to be Piccolo Mid but like you said we need offical proof first. Hopefully there is a Piccolo Mid because they can't just skip Early and go onto to End, that would be stupid. Johnny542 19:42, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it wouldn't make much sense. Though save the absence of Bio-Broly and Hatchhyack (hard as it may be to add the latter with licensing issues and all), I'm rather fond of the character roster as it is. I also wish they would add some characters like Kami and Ginger (for a Dead Zone story) and General Rildo with all his forms (which would add about 10 battles to the story mode). Still, I'm not complaining. Blue and GT Goku are enough to make me happy. ^^ // DecaimientoPoético 19:54, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah well I really, really, really hope they put Bio-Broly, General Rildo, Hiledgarn's first form, Eis Shenron and Andriod 14 and 15 in the game or even GT Vegeta, Gt Gohan, Gt Trunks and Gt Goten. That would be tight as hell. Since there is a chance that all these characters could be in this game since Ryo did mentained 30 characters plus never-before seen characters. Johnny542 20:42, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If I may comment he said about 30 characters, and with the addition of the What-if? characters, it woud most likely put it at about 30 new characters. I seriously doubt there will be any more new canonical characters, but thats just my opinion. Atomic Religione 21:47, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can I ask for help

[edit]

I'm new, but I understand the page editing and whatnot. A friend of mine (suit-n-tie) told me to ask you when I need help, so do you mind if I ask questions once in a while? About policies and guidelines, etc.--60 Delta 02:27, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be glad to help with what I can, though I must say ahead of time that I may not be able to answer all your questions. What's on your mind? // DecaimientoPoético 18:16, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Are there any like guideline pages I should look through? And how do you get those user box things on your page?--60 Delta 04:19, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind the second question, I figured it out.--60 Delta 05:08, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I could tell, the sentence I revised was copied almost verbatim from http://forum.cartoon-world.org/viewtopic.php?p=3749&highlight=. -- But|seriously|folks  01:18, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, then it wasn't a copyvio. But if the new article was copied from another Wikipedia article, it has to have an attribution note and link back to the original article, else its a GFDL violation. And it would help to have a note on the talk page or edit summary somewhere that indicates the article is a splitoff. If you tell me which article it came from, I'd be happy to add the attribution note. Thanks! -- But|seriously|folks  19:32, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Compromise?

[edit]

Why not we just keep the Battlefront 2 article but also keep the new smaller merge on the Battlefront series page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gunnerdevil4 (talkcontribs) 19:11, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Because there isn't much of a point in that. If the articles were, for example, Final Fantasy games (which have tons of topics to write about), they could keep their articles. But the Battlefront pages are clearly small enough to merge and keep all the important information. // DecaimientoPoético 19:14, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But if you look at the Battlefront 2 page, there is a long article, longer than a lot of articles around Wikipedia. And you don't see a stub notice on the bottom of the page do you? Gunnerdevil4 19:16, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

KOTOR articles

[edit]

The KOTOR games are definitely individually notable. I've left a comment at Talk:Star Wars, but in any case, plenty of information exists for all of them. Either of them could easily make GA or FA status if sufficient effort was placed forth. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 19:59, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same thing with the Battlefront articles. Individual notability is easily asserted. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 20:01, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:DMC3 manga 1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DMC3 manga 1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:03, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article ...But, I'm Your Teacher, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair use rationale for Image:Dark Jak.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Dark Jak.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 23:57, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Message from the My Chemical Romance task force

[edit]

Hello!

You may be interested to know that the WikiProject My Chemical Romance has recently been transformed into a task force of WikiProject Emo. Please visit the task force page to see what's new. This move allies the task force with a larger WikiProject that handles much of the administrative overload, thus allowing task force members to focus on the most important activity: article improvement.

The project's membership list has also been moved to the new task force page. If you see that your username is in the "Inactive/former members" section, please do not take offense; this is because you no longer appear to be active on Wikipedia. We may also take the liberty of removing the member userbox from your userpage if it appears there, to prevent you from automatically appearing in Category:My Chemical Romance task force members. Of course you are free to rejoin the task force and re-add the userbox at any time if you would like to become active again.

For active editors, it is our hope that this change will help spur you to improve articles related to My Chemical Romance. You may have noticed that the old My Chemical Romance project userbox on your user page has automatically changed to the new task force userbox. We may take the liberty of fixing the template link on your userpage, to avoid redirects.

Thank you and we hope you will continue to support the My Chemical Romance task force!

Replaceable fair use File:Steve Kramer001.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Steve Kramer001.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 15:48, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
