[edit]Expletive. Was doing some "housekeeping", and only just noticed your 2 Nov message. Sorry! Pdfpdf (talk) 12:08, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- Wow! You've been busy!! Yes, that's much nicer. Well done. Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 12:30, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
So I see! BTW: I've just been toying with Elizabeth South railway station, Adelaide. Could you please have a look and, if necessary, either tone-it-down or undo it. It's all true, but when re-reading, it sounds rather "over-the-top". Thanks, Pdfpdf (talk) 13:01, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Comment/Question
[edit]Can one add a caption to the photo in the "TransAdelaide" template box?
If so, how?
If not, I think this should be made possible.

[edit]That's a better photo! Taken from the Regency Road bridge? Pdfpdf (talk) 13:48, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
BTW: My personal (completely unbiassed, of course) opinion is that both pictures should appear on the page. i.e. Instead of replacing the old photo, you should have just added the new photo. Your thoughts? Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 14:01, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Good work
[edit]Your picture is very good. I also like the rail station pictures you have been taking in Adelaide. I don't live there unfortunately, so I can't help finish them. Seven Senses (talk) 00:07, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
NowCommons: File:AdelaideSkyline.jpg
[edit]File:AdelaideSkyline.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:AdelaideSkyline.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:AdelaideSkyline.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 20:12, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Mitcham_railway_station,_Adelaide.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Mitcham_railway_station,_Adelaide.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Closedmouth (talk) 09:16, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Station Photos
[edit]Its Rhys, long time no see. I have taken a few photos of 4 railway stations in Adelaide, including a station that does not have a photo on the Wikipedia page (Marino). I have one of Marino, two of Woodville Park, two of Unley Park and two of Eden Hills (after the new shelter was installed).
I don't know how to transfer pics from the camera to Wikipedia, I should figure it out, but it will take time because I don't have the internet on my home computer.
I'm hoping to take more photos of stations that are not on the Wikipedia. Good work with the other photos.
P.S. I know this is bad, but Adelaide United are a rabble. Bottom of the A-League, disgraceful. --Rhysydude (talk) 01:43, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:HiFrequencyStationAdelaide.png.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:57, 4 January 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ralmin (talk) 04:57, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Normangerman! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 9 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

File source problem with File:AdMetTrainTransAdelaide.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:AdMetTrainTransAdelaide.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:22, 4 May 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:22, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Seaford railway line, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Noarlunga Centre railway line. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot 12:26, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Adelaide Metro, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Seaford railway station (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:05, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
March 2014
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. Invitation to Adelaide Wikipedia Users Group meetings
[edit]Hi, in case you're not already aware of it, a group of Adelaide Wikipedians has been meeting on a monthly basis since April, with the aim of improving the scope and quality of articles on South Australian topics. We meet at UniSA's City West campus, and our 23 July meeting will have a guest speaker from the National Trust of SA.
This coming Sunday, 6 July, we will be holding our first Edit-a-thon. This will be an opportunity for new editors to come and learn either basic or more advanced editing from very experienced wikipedians, so if you know anyone who would like to get some practice, please let them know - and beginners will be very welcome. Cheers, Bahudhara (talk) 05:52, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
