Incidentally, if you're keen to keep your assessing skills honed, we are currently very short of reviewers for Milhist A-Class reviews. Broadly, the five A-Class criteria are just beefed up versions of the B-Class criteria and anyone with B-Class experience should have no trouble with them. Also, as a reminder, in the wide-ranging A-Class review, it is not necessary to comment on all five criteria: if you're short of time, you can simply focus on the aspects that interest you most (sources, comprehensiveness, prose, graphic content or whatever). You can track which articles are up for A-Class using this template: {{WPMILHIST A-Class Review alerts}}

Late Roman army
Hi, thanks for your support at Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Assessment/Late Roman army (I researched and wrote the article, Wandalstouring acted as my advisor on Wiki standards). Unfortunately, as you can see if you look at the page, editor Dhatfield is again hijacking the process with his concerns about the prose style of the article (he succeeded in torpedoing the last review because noone else commented). I see those concerns as largely spurious, but even if they aren't, they are relevant to FA, not A-class. Is there any way you can rustle up other editors that you know to comment on this article asap before the review closes? Otherwise, we could see it fail again because of one individual's style preferences. Best wishes EraNavigator (talk) 21:05, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
