Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:InternationalHouseBerkeley.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. jonny-mt(t)(c)Tell me what you think! 10:25, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Charles Farrar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Yair rand (talk) 03:38, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, you uploaded File:AlvelosViscondeAzevedoFerreira.jpg but did not say where the picture came from, and also did not grant a free license. This will have to be deleted unless it can be released in a free way such as CC-BY-SA-3.0. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:34, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated Citation spam

[edit]

Hello, only a day ago you were blocked for repeated citation spam of Structural health monitoring on another account User:João_de_Faria_Senna and numerous ip accounts such as User:45.172.98.65. Yet here you again. I suspect you are now just making a nuisance because it seems funny to you. But since you are obviously a part of the research community it seems odd that you take your responsibility to be fair, objective and a trustworthy person so lightly. By undertaking research you have implicitly signed up to a type of Hippocratic oath that you may not be fully aware of. You could have chosen to make a positive contribution to the field of Structural health monitoring but making the world a better place is not the path you have chosen. But nonetheless you are not beyond redemption...there is still time. In the meantime here is another warning. NeedsGlasses (talk) 02:09, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
