Don't post a link to your own website to add information that is already in the article.—Ryulong (竜龙) 03:20, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
WP:SOAPBOX partially covers why we're removing your link. However, it also violates WP:EL. Do not add it to The Amazing Race 19, again.—Ryulong (竜龙) 23:36, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comments and concern Ryulong, but please help me understand. I made a collections of points and paths in Google Earth that contain more information than what is in the article. I uploaded it to my google pages which is the easiest to access. Please let me know why this is considered soapbox, spam, and editlocking.
- The fact of the matter is that we do not need your fan-made file for Google Earth on Wikipedia. WP:EL concerns "external links", not "edit locking". And as it stands, the file that you made most certainly does not pass our external links inclusion rules. It's nice that you want to make these, but Wikipedia is not the place for you to share your work for another piece of software. If you really want people to like them, go to Reality Fan Forum. The average Wikipedia reader is not going to want to download a file some random person put up.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:20, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit] This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
