From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am teacher and researcher in Biochemistry and Genetics at a University. Wikipedia has become an important, if not always accurate, source of information. I have made additions, and corrected errors, in my field of expertise : Translational Control of Gene expression and CRISPR systems. Note: that although I intend to make some articles as accurate as possible, they can of course be started, influenced, and changed by others (this is Wikipedia), thus I am not responsible for the final content.

I have an interest in the history of Dunedin, New Zealand, particularly as it relates to infectious disease and quarantine and clipper ships(1840-1926).
