Displays the time interval between a given date and today in "fuzzy" terms (in terms of weeks, months, years, decades, etc, but without being overly-precise). The given date can be in the past or in the future.

Usage

year, month, and day correspond to the exact date of interest. Any parameter can be left out (while, admittedly, it makes little sense to specify a day without specifying a month, these are fuzzy time intervals, so we may not much care!).

For omitted parameters, the template takes the corresponding values from the launch date of Wikipedia (15 January 2001).

Examples

The examples in the first two sections (Order of weeks and Order of months) have been frozen in time to look exactly as they did when rendered on 8 March 2010, 23:00 UTC.

The examples in the remaining sections (Order of centuries, A very long time, and Into the future) update dynamically.
