Thank you for hopping on this so quickly. However, I'd like to retain this article, like the 500+ articles which will be created, over time, to describe the 435 current U.S. Congressional Districts, the several districts for non-voting delegates, and the dozens of obsolete, though historically important. --Mark_Adler (t·c) 01:59, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Gerrymandering

Why is there no information here regarding the population make up of this district? It was mapped out specificially to have an over 55+% Democrat affiliation of its registered voters. Furthermore, there is not a single paved road that one can remain on, and remain for the entire distance of that road, within this districts boundries.

This edit was done back in 2006, before we had the sine bot. To answer the question, since the above comment was placed, California now has draws its congressional district lines to make gerrymandering difficult, if not impossible. Samboy (talk) 20:20, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
