This was at Taunk from 2020 until this March when it was moved to Tank (surname) due to sockpuppet actions. It was moved to Taunk (surname) by a different sockpuppeteer in May, but Taunk still redirects here. If the move request is not successful, or if WP:NATDIS is an important factor, the page should be moved back to the stable title Taunk. Dekimasuよ! 21:13, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Taunk/Tak/Tak

I looked in the refs cited and I see no evidence that these are the same surname. Neither of them support the definition either. Can you review the older versions? I suspect the page must be nuked. --Altenmann >talk 23:17, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There was a long-standing previous version of the page based on clans that was speedy deleted in 2019. It does seem like the current information about "Tak" in the article could be merged to Tak (surname) since that page notes the existence of an Indian version but does not discuss it in detail.
